This has to be one of the nicest diners in a casino in the Carson valley! The staff are extremely friendly and prompt with service. The food is also varied, delicious and well-priced.

Located inside a casino. Good food with decent portions. East access with plenty of parking ( across from the casino). Timely delivery of food. Staff was friendly. It does get good reviews.

Been here twice when I find myself randomly in Carson and it's a great place to eat. Service is quick and in the two times I was there it wasn't busy. Food is solid and for three of us with meals it was only 40 bucks. Would recommend.

Craving a steak, I decided to head over to Betsy's Big Kitchen, having noticed that they serve Prime Rib steaks on Fridays and Saturdays. While this cut isn't my absolute favorite, the fact that it comes with au jus (beef broth) to dip it into or pour it on top made up my mind. It comes in an 8 oz, a large 22 oz-ish cut. Their usual 10 oz cut costs nearly ten dollars more than the smallest cut, which I chose. It ended up being larger than expected and more than satisfied my appetite. I would highly recommend having a steak here. The apple pie and iced cream was a great way to complete my meal.

Betsy's is the restaurant inside Slot World Casino. The smoke isn't too bad if you use the door to the outside right by the restaurant entrance. Food here is about thesame as the rest of the Carano owned local casinos, Bodine's, Slot World, Carson Valley Inn, Sharky's and the Tamarack junction in Reno. The menus are similar, but a few differences in offerings. Here I had the Patty Melt, wonderful and served with fries. Cooked as ordered, med rare. Most of the food is a good deal here.

Arguably the best value for a good breakfast in town and while I haven't tried their lunch or dinner plates, looking at their specials, I can tell you they are a great deal too. The portions are big, the service is friendly and fast and it certainly doesn't hurt that the food is tasty too! When we come, I typically get their Chicken Fried steak or Pork Verde as it comes with beans, tortillas and pico and my wife usually gets the Super French Toast with sausage links. Of course, if you're really looking to save some money, they do have 7.99 breakfast specials that'll fill you up as well. I should note there are ads on the table and around the casino for 24.99 10 oz Ribeye and 8 oz Prime Rib for just 16.99 or a 12 oz for just 23.99 and I do plan on giving them a try soon too. Now, even though this restaurant is in a casino, I have to say that it really has a warm feel and tons of local charm with retro wallpaper that highlights the history of Carson City and they really are a lot of fun to look at. Needless to say, this is definitely a place I would recommend dining at whether you're a local or just passing though town.

On our way back to South Lake Tahoe I just had to stop in Carson and hit up Betsy's Big Kitchen for that world famous chicken dinner! Reno was brake even for me, but my boy Sage Martin took 7500 Franklins, and a Keno girl from one of the big Casinos, so he'll be paying for dinner! Betsy's Big Kitchen sure is a welcoming place, it's like walking into Grandma's house on Thanksgiving...only there's no drama! 5 stars all day long.
